Great write up on the invention of the loudspeaker and the Danish companies that have participated in the field over the last 100 (now plus) years - the article was written in 2015. 120 pages in length, but very interesting and well written content. I especially enjoyed the opening salvo on the original invention of the loudspeaker in 1915 in Napa, CA (by Jensen and Pridham) but also enjoyed following the history of the various Danish companies in the industry.
Of particular interest (for me) was the write-up on Scan-Speak (including its takeover by Vifa) as I have always had a hard time determining who is/was building replacement Vifa drivers (page 108+). Now I know the Vifa story (at least up to 2015).
