And now with the pinch roller of my DTC-670 installed into the 59ES: it works ! (and the look is totally different)

So, I re-sanded the pinch roller again...once....twice...ans the third attempt seems ok.

So indeed the pinch roller's size/shape is critical.

Damned ! I just noticed that not only the left slider was broken....the spring is also missing :-(

I believe it can be sent in a regular envelop.

You are always too fast
I completely unmounted the whole thing (PCB/supply/....) and....found back the spring !
I guess it was there for years.....

I was lucky not to burn my house down !
