DBPlus 880 speakers - a buy or a miss?

Hi, first post here so sorry if I don't follow protocol. I'm looking to pick up a pair of DBPlus 880 speakers that I see listed online for $150. The price seems a bit steep, but from what I've heard, the speakers are good.
What do you guys think about these speakers, and what price do you think they're worth?

A Google search yielded plenty of hits for these speakers on AK.

The price sounds high; however, according to one of those threads they were $500/pr new. Since they're not exactly popular, it may be difficult to establish a value based on comparable sales. What you can do, however, is compare them to what else you can get for the same amount. Does that price include shipping, or is it local? Is that a hole in the woofer foam in the bottom, or a piece of dirt? Do you have the opportunity to listen to them before handing over your money? What's the condition of the cabinets? Answers to these questions will help get you more info.
