DBX 4BX vs 3BX DS III

Does anybody know the differences between the 4BX and 3BX DS III dynamic range expanders? I'm actually wondering about the "impact restoration" function. It looks like the 3BX DS has a 3 band impact restoration along with its 3 band expander. The 4BX looks like it only has a single band impact restoration along with its 3 band expander. Plus it looks like the DS has a Ambiance knob. Has anybody tried these 2 models?

Interesting Question...I have a 3BX DS, a 4BX, and a 5BX and have never ABC ed them. hmmmmmmmm:scratch2:

Chazzer, do you know if the 4BX has 3 bands for the Impact Restoration like the 3BX DS does?
...Of the 2 models, which one is the better model? Thanks

yes 4bx has 3 impact restoration bands but only 1 summed led display for indication
