This is one of the most incredible amps I have ever owned and I have had many. It is under rated in terms of power specs. I rarely used so I decided to sell it.

if it's so incredible why is it rarely used

The amp worked without issue for as long as I have owned it. Recently channels 1 & 2 have developed distortation. I really have no idea what is causing the problem. It could be a case of bad transistors or otherwise. Repair will be upn to the new owner. I will include a copy of the owners manual to the buyer.

maybe beccause it never worked. could be a $900 doorstop

Might not be a doorstop, feeling lucky? Any unobtainium parts within? Statements made will definitely will keep the price down IMO.:D

I don't really follow these but $900 to open is out of my league for something that needs to be fixed

In my usual hast to properly reply, this will list, IMO about 3 times before actually selling. No way at the BIN will it go (again IMO). Patience is the key!

An "incredible amp" that has distortion in 2 channels? He should get it fixed and then list it that way. He "decided to sell", obviously cause it needs fixed or isn't worth the cost to do so.

I thought this was just the wood-side paneled jobbie that was also sold under the "Audio Dynamics" brand...this one is super rare.

Not a lot of super high-quality US-built amplifiers out there, but I'd agree $900 is tough on a gamble. As cool as this is, I'd rather have a pair of minty GFA-565s or something
