DBX SF-2500

Hi, new to this forum. I've been lurking for a few days looking for info on DBX sf-2500 speakers. Didn't find what I was looking for (basic specs). My neighbor gave me these and I think they sound fantastic with my Yamaha r-n602 receiver. I'm hoping some of you knowledgable people can fill me in on the basic specs on these speakers or point me in the right direction to find that info. Thanks in advance.

Surprisingly not a lot of info on these. I know that the original DBX speakers were fairly well regarded in their time. If they sound good, then that's all that really matters, isn't it? How are the woofers? They may need to be refoamed.

Thanks for the reply. Foam looks intact, and they certainly sound good. I was hoping to find the impedance of the speakers....I'm assuming they're 4 ohm, based on other models I've found info on.

This is a little old; did you ever get what you sought? I can look up in the manual (which I wrote) what it says for z, probably 6z but not positive. It does not really matter; they are not a difficult load and not insensitive, iirc. A brilliant and smooth design, hope you got / are getting use out of them. Need a sub, and resurrounding yes also.
