Dbx speakers

They look quality all the way around. Until a couple of years ago, I never knew DBX made speakers. I had found a DBX orphan mini bookshelf at a TS, similar to a minimus 10, and it looked like a real quality piece. If it had had a partner, I would have bought them.

Those are very nice speakers. I hope that somebody on the west coast knows what those are and picks them up. I would hate to think that the seller would end up taking them to the dump if they don't sell. $70 is a steal.

To anyone on the fence about these: They are definitely not the DBX speakers (aka Thunder Lizards) sold by Drew Kaplan through the DAK catalog. The only thing shared with those was the DBX name. These are truly good loudspeakers.

If any AKer does buy these, I'd appreciate it if he'd post the kind of tweeter that's installed: I have a pair of SF-50s (look similar) with all the tweeters missing and I've never been able to find out what the correct replacements should be.

They were listed before for $100 and didn't sell. Hopefully, like Fisherdude mentioned, somebody will buy them so they don't end up in the dump.
I believe they are $1500/pair speakers.

My mom (she's 89) has the model down from that, a two way with the same tweeters and that same triangular configuration, along with a DBX CD Player and Receiver. They sound excellent. Cabinet construction is a little on the flimsy side, but these look a little better built.
