DCinDC worst experience ever on AK

I sent DCinDC 400 dollars for a sansui au-d11ii in May of 2012, yes you're reading that right, 2012. DCinDC told me it was in great shape, I saved the entire timeline actually. Basically I didn't receive it for 2 months after paying for it. Within hours it dropped a channel and when I pushed in the direct button it started humming and went into protection. I told DCinDC and he offered to fix it so he arranged a FEDEX pickup and I put it back in the exact same shipping box and shipping material it arrived in. I send it back, 2 weeks go by, not a word. Trying to get him to reply to emails AFTER he got my money was like playing KGB. He replies that it's smashed, I didn't pack it correctly and he has pictures to prove it (why would he lie, he's been top notch until this point). He says he will file a claim blah blah blah...I ask him if he had it insured, he says yes, I asked Fedex, they said no. Hmmm. He then tells me he's going to get it back together...months and months go by, not an email, not a call, NOTHING.

When I send an email he replies in 4 days, 5 days..yet I see him on AK blathering about fixing stuff and trying to sell some of his other junk. I eventually called him and said just send it back as-is, I wasn't very nice about it, in fact, I was livid, that's what happens to normally patient dudes who deal with guys like Dave. I want my 400 back or the freaking broken amp so I can part it out. Nothing...and that's where we stand nearly 2 YEARS LATER. DCinDC I would have to say you suck, and that's putting it lightly.

Short answer:

You packed it like a kindergartner, and it got smashed to ****.

I'm still trying to rebuild it. WAIT. That's what you get.

And for anyone else: send me an amp packedin NOTHING, and it gets broken? TOUGH ****./

Because I'm not responsible for it being broken.
I shipped a working amp. I received a box of broken parts.

And I am still trying to get the parts to make it whole again. THAT'S customer service.

the amp dropped a channel within in less than 2 hours of being played, which is what I suppose took you 2 months to get ready to ship to me. Look man, it's not about who packed what or who didn't insure what, it was the way you treated me, read the story on AK of the smashed Fisher 500, everyone involved worked together to resolve the issue, you've done nothing but give me crappy attitude and not even make the slightest effort to communicate while I'm the one out money AND product. I've had to pull teeth to get an email reply, some of which you never replied to. The situation certainly sucks, more for me than you, and if there's karma on audiokarma you've certainly got some coming. Anyway I already told you I just want it back as-is, i still have the picture and it wasn't all that bad. In the meantime one has been completely parted out on ebay and I could have enlisted someone near me who lacks your nasty disposition and could be listening to it right now.

The only time you were remotely nice or friendly was when you were trying to get paid.
