DCM CX-17 MONITOR SERIES

So I had the opportunity to work an electronic recycling job for a couple months and someone came with a mint condition harmon/kardon hk3300 stereo reciever and a pair of DCM cx-17 monitor series speakers. Well I took them home and hooked it all up and thee speakers for their size are amazing! Please if anyone out there has another pair in good condition and wants to sell them please let me know.

On a whim, I recently picked up a pair of DCM CX-17 for $20 on the auction site. I set them up where I normally have my Paradigm Mini Monitors. When I started streaming various reference tracks from Amazon Music HD, I was blown away. The DCM CX-17 may not look like much, but they sound fantastic. Just silly good speakers when used with my Paradigm subwoofer. Best $20 audio investment I have ever made.
 
As Nolasally said, wait til you try the CX-27. I actually had to turn down the bass a bit the last time I had them setup. I'm thinking of using them in a stack with my TF400 instead of my JBL L36s. I'm a stacker and the combination of the TF400 and the L36 is a super combo.
 
I have a neighbor with a pair of CX-27 asking $50 dollars, look and sound very nice. Should I, would you?
 
Well I got them for 40 bucks, black wood case. Honestly these sound really nice, thanks for the imput.
