DCM CX-17's or Paradigm 3se's with NAD 7140 - which would you use?

I'm setting up an office system with a NAD 7140, Chromecast Audio playing Spotify Premium or local FLAC at 16/44 and 24/96, and either the DCM or Paradigm speakers - any opinions on which speakers to use? Thanks!

I would recommend listening to the system alternating between the two speaker sets and then choosing the ones that sound best to you. Don't really see as to how anyone else's opinions should take precedent over that.

Owned both and while a big fan of DCM speakers I think the Paradigms will add more on the lower end than the 17's. The best of the CX series are the 27's. The 17's and 07's are better used as satellite speakers in a HT set-up IMO.

Problem is DCM's are in NC and Paradigms in FL......... and not much room in the car to take them back to FL when we go..... I think I'll stick with Paradigms - owned some in the past and enjoyed their smooth response and fairly good bass extension. Thanks for the inputs!

I'ved lived in Florida for a long time and I have never even heard, let alone hear, any Paradigm speakers. I have a pair of CX-17s and can attest to the surprise they gave me upon using them the first time. They still impress me.
