Dcm cx-27 - $70

Anyone familiar with this model of DCM's? I've only had the TimeFrames...

A pair of DCM CX-27 speakers with all original drivers in perfect shape. These sound fantastic with great bass and produce an awesome sound with even very low power amplifiers. Cabinets are about a 6/10, they have a few dings and scratches, couple holes in grills, and 1 badge missing. The stands support the 25 lb. speakers well, and raise their drivers to optimum listening level.

Technical Specs:
Transmission line with 2 rear firing ports
2 6.5" shielded magnet woofers
1 .75" ferro-fluid cooled tweeter mounted co-ax with acoustic lens
27"H x 11" x 10" 25 pounds each
93db
150 watts
6 ohms
35 Hz to 20 kHz frequency range

These are priced lower than their worth because of cabinet issues.
You are welcome to audition these if you'd like.

Have a pair. They do sound good. The cabs are dated. If I could get $70 for them I would bid them farewell. I think the drivers fit time windows.

I have a pair I got from Ehoove several years ago. They compare very favorably to the TF-600's I have owned and the TW1's I still own. At that price/condition I would not hesitate to grab them. They have the classic DCM imaging and detailed highs but provide better low end than some of the lower model TF speakers.

You can use them for a 2-channel set-up or as the front pair in HT set-up if you can get your hands on some CX-17's.

Good Luck!
