I've owned several sets of DCM speakers over the years- TW1, TW1a, Timepieces, CX-27, and Macrophones. I restored my first set of TW, a PITA with getting the sock off and dealing with the upside down crossovers under the top cap. Parts are cheap and plentiful however, and drivers are easy to replace. As much as I enjoyed the TWs, they didn't image as well, nor produce the bass as my Vandersteen 2CE. I didn't care for the CX-27 much and gave them to a friend. I'm keeping my Macrophones as they are essentially 1/2 of a Time Window in a bookshelf size. They sound very nice, but need minimum 70 watt amp to get their potential.
As for the value of restored TW, it depends on factors of local market AND availability of other speakers. I sold my 2nd set, TW1a for 200 in excellent shape, but that was probably low.
