I just set up a pair of DCM 500 timeframes. They're being driven by a Rogue Audio Sphinx integrated amp..They sound great and the soundstage is good. Is there a way to widen the soundstage? Can the soundstage be widened to go outside the speakers? Would a set of blue tooth speakers help?

Speakers are a lot like real estate. It's location, location, location. Couple that with the right amount of toe in and you've got it. The Cardas setup directions are very good. They'll get you 90% of the way there. That last 10% is where the tweaking and listening become the final step.
A lot of a perceived soundstage is a product of the recording. Some have a very wide and spacious soundstage that extends well past the outer edges of the speakers. Other recordings have little to no soundstage.

Carver's Sonic Holography and Phase Linear's Auto Correlation amps were attempts at providing what you want. I've worked on a Carver Sonic Holography preamp a few years back, so I got to play with it quite a bit. I found that with the right recording and a lot of fiddling with knobs it could be pretty impressive, but the next recording might sound like crap with those same settings. So you had to do more fiddling and some recordings just never sounded good with it. If you took a poll of owners with these systems, I'd bet a large percentage never use them. You might look at Polk SDA speakers, with the right room and right setup they work some magic with soundstage.
This may sound goofy- but have you tried reversing the speakers, exchanging left for right?
The driver layout on the baffles on those are asymmetric, but mirror-imaged. Sometimes, reversing them can catch a room reflective mode in a better way.
It may help, and it may not- but it's easy to try, to find out.

That works, sometimes- until you get them so far apart that you start to either have a "hole" in the middle of the stage, or they lose their midbass energy/warmth...
And sometimes- I've actually had the image "collapse" when the speakers were farther apart than optimal, for the distance to the listener. So, sometimes it's not so good to pull them that far apart.
