DCM TF-400...Worth now and retail in '91?

I just bought a pair of DCM TF-400 at a garage sale. They are cosmetically in excellent shape...no snags or tears in the sock...wood is nice. I have them hooked to my Sansui Receiver Seven and they sound very nice. I'm wondering what these things are worth? What did they retail for in 1991 when they were released? I paid $40.

Should I keep them and sell the excellent condition BIC Venturi V504 set that I found recently for an unheard of $2 or sell the DCMs?

A quandry!

I got a pair last month, and like them alot. Original price on them was 550.00 for the pair. Not sure of current value but there has been a set on CL here listed at 125.00 and they have been listed for 2 or 3 weeks.

As to which to keep, which sound better to you?

I ran a side by side test last night. The DCMs definitely sound better. They make the Venturis sound flat. I think the Venturis will be sold.

That sounds like what I would do :) My pair displaced some JBL L26 Century's that are waiting for another openning
