DCM TF600 Score

Just got a pair of DCM Time Frame TF 6 for $75. Been in storage in original plastic & packing, virtually spotless.

Tried to look them up on the web and found several other TF series like the 200/400/600/1000 series but nothing on the single digit series. These are not the TFV6.0.

Are these real or some knockoffs?

Where do they fit in the line up of DCM speakers?

Thanx

Many of us own Time Frame TF600s ... they are quite impressive speakers!

There is a thread here with images and manuals of most of the classic DCM Time Frame speakers
http://www.audiokarma.org/forums/showthread.php?t=441762

And there are plenty of folks here who own and have enjoyed the earlier DCM Time Windows speakers

As others have said, it'd be really great if you would post some clean pictures of your speakers here and share them with us!

I have a pair of TF350 and TW1 speakers. Both sound great. I have never heard of V6.0. Prototype?

My bad.......sorry

I guess I should have unpacked them and got a good look at the complete ID tag, TF-600.

Man these things sound good, great imaging and surprising bass, love that TL design.

Now I have a "Sophies Choice" of sorts.......

Infinity RS3b, Magneplanar MG-1 or these TF-600, which would you keep and why?

If it were me, I would keep the one that makes my favourite music sound the best ...

So far, I've haven't owned Infinitys (but I'm interested!).
I owned MGIIBs, and sold them after a year - nice for vocals, but a bit Bass shy.
I currently have Multiple DCMs; TF400/TF600/TF1000 and a TimePiece for my Home theatre system,
and also have a pair of DCM TF700s part-time on my other (2 ch music-only) system.

Most of the time, for 2 channel music-only use, I use the custom JBL 3ways in my avatar ...
but I've sold the rest and the DCMs are second only to those JBLs .

i still remember the first time i heard a dcm speaker. it was a pair of tf600's owned by my best friend in high schools mom. the fixx-reach the beach album playing. i now own that record, but still am trying to get after that pair of 600s. my cx-07's have that dcm sound, but its just not the same. the 600's kick ass! plus they are handsome and have decent waf.
