DCM TimeWindow^2 Crossover Rebuilds

Hello All.
Back for the final update on the TimeWindow^2 restoration.
I decided to attach the grills to using Neodymium magnets. Since the top and bottom support rails of the grills are steel, this seemed to be a no-brainer. As you can see by the picture, it worked quite well. Not that I will ever need to take the grills off, but if I do, I can now without having to remove brads.

One final evaluation.
When I finished the rebuild, I was not happy how these sounded. Can describe what "not happy" means other than that - they just were not pleasing to me. Disjointed is the best way I can describe it.
I let them sit for a while. Then a while longer. Periodically I would power them for a few tunes but would soon switch back to the DQ-10's. About a month ago I came to the conclusion that they are too big and take up too much space for me to keep if I didn't like the way they sounded. Don't know about you but when I decide to pass something along, I always pull it out for one last listen - mainly to make sure everything still functions properly.
To my astonishment, the TW^2 now sound totally different than before. Crisp, full, great bass and an amazingly wide, coherent sound stage. Not sure what is going on but I can only attribute the change in the caps settling in. That's the only thing that makes any sense to me.
So, now they are keepers and often it's the DQ-10's I swap out in favor of the TW^2.
