No tubes in a Pioneer SX1000TW reciever......... they did have wooden cases thuogh at least the seller got that right.
the PS-LX350H sony record player by itself might be worth a shot ..... at a lower price

I would definitely hit that!

I love those Sony Mini systems (MHC-1750) although it probably needs work now. Well, all of it does.

The Pioneer receiver is a real nice piece. I have one.

The rest is gravy, there's money to be made there if you can fix it up yourself.

Replacing power cords aren't hard to do. Hopefully when you wire them up they're in working condition.

It will all depend on condition. Also, any unit with a cut cord is at best even odds of working. Cut cord usually means it was either fished out of a dumpster or someone decided it wasn't worth fixing (and thus either dumpstered it or sold it to some sucker who thought a new cord was all it needed). Definitely check the fuses and smell for burnt electronics. If the fuses are blown or obviously new you could be buying a real money pit.
