Deal on Marantz 7T 15 and 105...?

So I have a chance to pick up some marantz gear. models 7T 15 and 105 tuner. all with wood cases. they are in really good cosmetic condition but have not listened to them or opened them up. what would be a fair price to pay? he is asking top dollar, but I know he will work on the price a bit. hoping to get the set for $1000-$1100.

If anyone has experience with them let me know what you think.

I think your range is reasonable becasue I see the 7Ts going for $800 and up. What is he asking?

asking $1500...but thats not going to happen for me...best i can do is 1000-1100.He has been shopping the set for at least a year at that price. si I will make the offer and thats it. take it or leave it.
