Decal or lettering replacement

Hey guys I have a pioneer Eq that the lettering has rubbed off.
First what would you call the lettering, like decals ? I'm sure it has a proper term used. If I knew what to call them then maybe I could search a little bit better before having to ask here.

I obviously can't paint the letters back on it but there has to be someone who sells reproduction decal thingys.

Anyone know where I could look

It sounds like what you're looking for is rub on lettering. Amazon has a selection

I've used this on faceplates in the past. You should cover it with a light coat of clear lacquer to protect it.

The main issue is that the font selection is pretty small these days, since for most purposes computer generated fonts have taken its place. There are products which will let you print your own decals from a laser or inkjet printer - Amazon has those, too. This might be the best approach is you need black or dark fonts, but not if you need white (computer printers don't print white, but use the color of the paper for that).
