Decca Allegheny IV

Hello, I have a 1959/1960 Decca Allegheny IV that I am trying to find a legible schematic for. There is one glued to the inside that I cannot remove without ripping, and even if I did, the print is so small that I cannot read it. I have checked Sam’s photofact and it seems to skip over this model entirely. Any help identifying a more readable diagram would be great. Any other knowledge of these old Decca console amps is welcomed too. Thanks!

Oh, and the tubes are a 12ax7 and two 50c5

This is a long shot but I once was in the same position with a schematic glued to the inside.

I took the best picture I could and I brought it to my local FedEx office and one of the staff was able to copy the pic and then enhance it before converting it into .pdf form.

It worked out pretty good and was quite legible.

I assume you're aware that that's a "hot chassis" with no power transformer providing AC isolation, and requires the usual precautions. Just checking...

Yes, becoming aware. Thank you. There is also a ground wire soldered directly to the chassis. I'm not sure how much that helps but we are also handling it with lots of care.

WOW! You're a life saver! The full picture is still a bit fuzzy but the close up is crystal clear. You must have one? Any tips on restoring or replacing parts? Could you take a couple of close ups in quadrants so that we can see the numbers throughout the diagram?

I have one that the guts were already taken out of, so I can’t help any with the restoration. I have the turntable and some of the parts from the top compartment (dials and dial plate, et cetera) if you are missing any of that, but the speaker and amp were gone when I got it. I planned on dropping a Miracord 50 H II record changer and Olson Lab Series 355 amp into it, and making the front speaker grill a cabinet that opens for record storage. I got about halfway through that project before we had our second kid. That was nine years ago. I just happened to be getting back into it and decided to look up Decca Allegheny on AudioKarms and came across your post.
