I am selling my MX110, MC40's and my Chorus II speakers to a good friend. I will be replacing the amps with two MC275's running as monoblock's. My pre will be the C2200 I picked up this July.
The ultimate plan is to get Khorns for my 24X32 room over my new garage. Since we have not even broken ground yet it will be awhile before I move in.
I have read many good things about the Cornwall here and it seems to be the most popular choice for vintage Klipsch sound for the price. I know several versions of this speaker have been made over the years, primarily the original Cornwall and the Cornwall II, and III. Bob Crites is not far away, so anything I do will get his upgrades if needed.
I will be doing a full Crites upgrade on the Chorus II's before they go to their new owner. I am afraid I will regret selling them. Oh well, everybody needs a speaker change after almost 20 years.
Any opinions or advice is appreciated.
