Dee Dee Bridgewater

[dmax99]

I saw Dee Dee Bridgewater today at a small venue in Flint.Backed by a very adept quartet, they put on one helluva show. The setlist was was pulled mostly from her latest record,a tribute to Billie Holiday. She performed alot of the favorites including:Lover Man,Lady Sings The Blues,All of Me,Good Morning Heartache,&You've Changed.Don't hesitate to see this show if comes your way.

Dee Dee's great. Her Red Earth album is truly wonderful. Great vocals backed by the music of Mali and beautifully produced.

That Billie tribute album is special. I agree with Finn as well, Red Earth is very nice as well.

That was my first experience with her music, more titles for the want list.

Kinda glad I did not go with ya, I would most likely still be on US-23!

Just ordered up Red Earth to have a listen.

It was snowing like hell when we came outside 3-4" fresh snow and no end in sight.Roads were a mess.It was definetly worth it tho.
