Definitive Technology SuperCube III Subwoofer

I want to upgrade my sub woofer(currant sub Polk Audio PSW 10)
and the Definitive Technology SuperCube III Subwoofer intrigues me.

Anyone have one or familiar with them? Do they have quality issues? Is the bass response as good as the advertisement says? Are they a significant upgrade over my Polk?

Then I saw this sub. NEW Sony SAW3000 Subwoofer. While it's cheap it claims it can go down to 20Hz-02. Now with cheaper equipment usually a reason why they are cheap. But anyway, has anyone heard these Sony subs? For my money would these be a better value then the Definitive sub?

I have a Denon AVR 5803 and my main speakers are JBL-L150A's and AR LST-2's if that helps anyone for advise. My main music interest is metal.Movies vary alot.

I don't honestly know why you would need a sub with either of those speakers. You should have plenty of clean bass as-is. If you absolutely have to have a sub i would go with the def tec, you honestly do get what you pay for, when it comes to subs. And you will be needing a good one to keep up with those speakers.

Personally I would look in to the Def Techs, I have been impressed with their speakers especially the dipole ones with the sub in it. I think Polks are better than Sony however I haven't really heard much.

You probably are right, I'm definitely not lacking for bass. I'm still debating if I should even get another sub. The reason why I'm even thinking of the Def Tech sub is that I can get it for $300.00 less then retail.

If I don't go for the sub, I may just get an Oracle Delphi MkII turntable instead. Now that would be a huge upgrade from what I have.
