Deltec Precision Audio 200S power amp

Just got this off ebay at a good price because the left channel is 'broken' seller said he meant to fix it, and supposedly had narrowed it down to the transformer, but couldnt find a suitable replacement. I've just opened it up and spotted the potential problem within seconds ? Gonna fire up the soldering iron over the weekend to test my suspicion.

Can anyone spot the most likely suspect ?

If it was the transformer nothing would work.. The seller has no clue what's wrong with it.. Is not going to be and easy fix... All surface mount components.. Probably no service manual.. Not even large enough for a door stop. .Maybe a paper weight.. Cut your losses..

Other than the broken speaker solder connection..

There is a lot of solder oxidation in there as well..

Looks like a double sided board. Touch up the solder on both sides.

I thought it might be worth at least trying that, so do you think theres enough heatsink for the manufacturers 200w spec in bridged mode ?

Not for class A or B..

Heh, yeah they have a bit of a reputation for dodgy workmanship, and poor heatsinking, poor grounding etc, but their DACs sound stunning. Hoping this will be my second easy (probably only happened due to poor QC) fix, I got one of their DACs doa years ago, turned out a flimsy heatsink had fallen off a votage controller, replaced both, and had a fully functional unit. Not sure I would trust their 50w rating in it's stereo mode either tbh.
