Denon 8k recievers

Well denon has released 8k recievers,well my Yamaha v385 is having problems,lost the subwoofer signal
So stoped buy Best Buy,they just got a new denon 570 reciever a 8k reciever.so I snagged it.will hook it
Up tomorrow to see how the 8k upscale works. It will be nice to see 8k upscale on a good 4k tv.it should
Look dam good.no atmos or dtsx but truhd and dts and 8k upscale.dam Yamaha seems to be going down
Hill second one.do a reset works for a week or so than sub signal goes away.new cables new subs keeps
Going away.lucky to get the new denon 570,hope I like it.how does 8k upscale work on a 4k tv or a 1080 tv.
Guess I will find out tomorrow.

Um, what? You can't upscale to 8k on a 4k TV, you need an 8k display for that. IMO 8k is more a gimmick than anything else, at least for TV/movie watching on any screen size that any mere mortal can currently afford (excluding projection, but I doubt we'll be seeing a reasonably priced 8k projector in the next few years). What's more important with newer formats (e.g. HDMI 2.0 and higher) is the improved contrast that comes with them.

Yep - I haven't even made the jump to 4K yet!

Well made a mistake the denon is going back have a large theature room.denon 730 on one end put the 570 on the other end where the Yamaha was.turn one on the other turns on,the tv the 4k players turn on.just a pain in the ass.
So I will reset the Yamaha put it back in take the denon back to Best Buy.guess I should have maybe think what
Could happen with two of the same companies recievers in the same room.well now I know,look before you leap.
Use some common sense.well guess I don’t have any,as my wife keeps telling me I don’t have any.well anyway I like
The yamaha sound better than the denon 570 sound,denon bright yamaha has more weight.
