Denon DCD 1420 8.00 dollars

Picked this up this morning. Denon DCD-1420. Nice sounding deck. Seller was listing 3 Denon pieces for 25.00. All I wanted was the cd player. She let it go for 8.00. Now all I need is the remote, which will probably cost more than the player. Not as robust as the 1500, but cant complain.

Good looking player. Fortunately, most all of the Denon CD remotes use the same codes so almost any single disc (or multi disc) CD remote will work it. I have a DCM-560 and the 5 disc changer's remote also works my DCD-1560 including the volume! Nice... Also, if you have a Harmony remote, it can also be programmed to work it as well.

But, yeah. You'll pay more for the remote than the player itself.

What were the other components she was selling? 25 seems like a good price for 3 Denon pieces. Depending on what they were. I think you got a good deal.

A Denon receiver and a Denon dubbing cassette deck. Both nice looking, but didnt need the 2.

I would of taken all 3 then flipped what I didn't need.

I still have her number and she also told me if the remote shows up, she would let me know. I guess considering the price, probably pick them up from her if she hasnt sold them in the next few days. The cd player is all I wanted tho, and i am running out of room for more stuff.
