Hello,
I own two Denon DP series, which basically seem to work identically, for both I wonder if the piece controlling the Play/stop Lever is functioning normally.
The lever needs to be held a couples of seconds before it lock into the play position, sometimes, when the arm drop and the stylus touches the disc it makes the lever switch back to stop and raise back the arm....
Is there any malfunction here???? Other than that everything is really fine and working well.
Is it grease that dried that needs to be cleaned and replaced? Is it only from the black cylinder that pushes back the lever or from the white plastic piece that enables it to stop???
I pictured and circled both parts.
