Denon DP-300f Autostop Issues

I have a brand new Denon DP-300f. I set it up, everything is balanced. But when autoreturn kicks in it drags the stylus over the record. Denon customer service wasn't much of a help, they reccomended i bring it to a shop but it is BRAND NEW. Anyone else have some insight or should I just return it? I'm not bringing a brand new TT to a shop for repair.

NOPE! Hopefully you saved your receipt from wherever you bought it. I had on for a few days as well. Not very good quality
 
We'll i got it off amazon so yeah U have everything, but there's not much I can replace it with that has better quality at the price point. I may just return it for another one. I have seen a lot of positive reviews about it, enough to give it another shot.
 
And you read just about all those positive reviews on Amazon. Cheaper for Amazon and Denon to throw your table in the dumpster and send you another, repairing would cost more than it is worth. Get a refund and move far away from any of the new entry level tables, all low quality construction and next to no quality control. How about AKs Barter Town, place a want add for a table in your price range.
