Denon DP-35F quartz lock problem

since yesterday mine denon dp-35f start acting up...namely, it have problem to quartz lock speed...it needs several seconds to lock speed, and can play records fine till the end...but, every new record is making problem again, it blinks up quickly for some time, 5-10 seconds, and in the end finally lock speed...after that, it plays fine until i change side or put a new record...

if i switch speed from 33 to 45, and back to 33, speed lock stop blinking and works fine until the end of the record...

where do i start? i am on the level of contact spray, i wouldn't bother to open it up myself, but just to ask what could be the problem, some pots, capacitors or something else...?

I've seen capacitors mentioned as causing speed issues in Denon turntables. I recapped my DP-33F and that had no effect. I eventually replaced the two speed adjustment trim pots and adjusted them per the service manual. That did the trick. You could try treating them with deoxit, but on mine you have to open up the table for access,
 
i think i found the problem! i opened up mine tt and find one small black capacitors near trim pots went bust...it is marked as C202 and it literally have a hole on top...

did anyone know the right spec? since it's an older one, i suppose i can change with some newer with higher voltage and higher temp spec? any recommendations?

would it be wise to change all caps, or just this one?

Update:

denon was in service, doing a full recap, but things are now even worse :( before service, quartz lock is acting up, but it catch the speed if i push the platter sligthly, or went to 45 and back to 33, but now 33 is blinking constantly...45 is working fine...service guy thinks it is some sort of mechanical problem, but he can't find any solution...he was cleaning speed pots etc, but no luck....

he didn't charge me anything, but now i don't know what else to do? recap didn't solve the problem and it makes it even worse... :dunno:
 
Did your service tech go through the adjustment as described in the Service Manual after changing the capacitors? (see instructions below)
Does your technician have experience with Denon turntables and does he have the test equipment needed for the adjustments?

Which capacitors did he change for the FULL recap (I assume he only did the electrolytic caps and not the others).
If he did not tell you which (or give you a bag with the old caps), then you should be able to look at the board and see which ones look different than the others.

yes, he did everything you mentioned, and no luck...and you are right, he changed all electrolyte caps...


as far as i can tell, if 45 works fine 33 should work fine too, as mentioned in the service manual, it confuses me?

If 45 rpm can lock, but 33 can't ,is R12 bad? See the "Note" in the service manual screen shot
