Sorry for starting the first post from a problem.
Just got Denon DP-40F in very good conditions - without scratches, broken off pieces of wood cabinet, and so - which is very rare on the marker, bur somehow it does not power on.
The symptom is a bit strange: when press the PowerON button, the lamp "lock" blinks just for few miliseconds and then the light goes out and nothing happens. By switching off (unpressing PowerON button) the same symptoms repeat again.
Power fuse is OK, Power switch is OK, no burned details visible...
Unfortunately in a service manual neither checkpoint voltages written, no step-by-step checking process described, so I am really confused how to identify the problem - where to start from and what to check.
If there is an expert familiar with DP-40 or can identify the possible "weak point" or "candidate" source of this issue just by looking the schematic diagram - your kind advise would be highly appreciated.
