Denon DP-47F rotation autostart

Hi there!

I have some problems with Denon DP-47F turntable. As manual suggests, you adjust counterweight on tonearm while the turntable is disabled so tonearm balances horizontally, and then adjust tracking force when the turntable is enabled.

But, my problem is - when I move tonearm when the turntable is enabled with my arm, the turntable starts rotating. Am I doing something wrong?

Service manual suggests covering the holes where the record size detection light goes in, and wait at least 7 seconds after powering on - done that, same effect - rotation starts.

I have a DP-47F. I just set the dial for VTF and hope that it's right. I don't know any way to use a scale to measure it. Good luck. :)
