Denon DP-60L without tonearm

I picked up Denon DP-60L for almost nothing. It does not have a tonearm but the base is still there. Looks like someone ripped it out of the table. Table electronics works but I dont see the platter turning. No Lid too. Suggestions to find a new tonearm or use something I have like grace tonearm are welcome. Also how do I debug the platter not turning issue? Also is it worth to fix this table?
PS: This guy has a Pilot 647 receiver which looks nice.

Check out Vinyl Engine.com for the Owners and Service manuals. I would give it a try to put back into working order.
 
I do not know what your skill set includes, but this is not a simple task. Many linkages between arm and motor control functions. You may get more support at the Denon section of vinylengine.com.
 
Unless there is damage not obvious from the top view photos, it look as though just the arm tube and counterweight are missing. It was supplied with 2, a very light straight tube with fixed offset head shell and an S shaped tube with detachable shell.The only auto functions were lift and lower controlled from the button with auto lift at the end of a side. All done by the little motors Freddymac2 mentions:-)
Try to find replacements before you junk the rest of it. Other models probably have these parts in common.
 
I hope you got it cheap as a tonearm wand will run about $200 and a counterweight $20 aftermarket to $60 OEM and there are 4 to cover a wide range of cart masses.
Plus the non turning platter, scratched gimbal bridge, no dust cover (another $200) and what looks like a bent tonearm weight arm as it doesn't look linear with the front mount.

You may be best served by selling for parts.

That has probably already been done with this unit. Dust cover, armwand, headshell, and counterweight are the parts that are easiest to sell. All are already gone. I'm surprised that they didn't also sell off the rubber platter mat and the feet.
