I have a Denon DVD-3800 that with certain disks, the head contacts the disk causing physical damage to the disk. This should not be possible with this high-end player. It would repeat with certain disks but with others, it would play perfectly. I compared the disks and found the raised ring around the center hole were of different sizes with the larger diameter ridge disks not working correctly! The smaller diameter ridge disks work perfectly. It seems incredible to me that disk manufacturers and Denon could get this wrong.
My question is did Denon come out with a replacement part that addresses this issue?
