Denon POA-6600 question

I am the happy new owner of a pair of Denon POA-6600 monoblocks. They have a 12VDC input socket for remote power switching. I'd like to use the DC control output from my Nakamichi CA-7 to control these, but it appears to have a 24V signal out.

Questions:

1. Is the DC input of the Denon voltage-free?
2. Can I connect the 2 Denon inputs in series to split the Nak's 24V, or should I just reduce this to 12V level externally?

OK, got it sorted out. The Nakamichi's 24V output is floating (not referenced to the analogue signal or ground). The Denons can handle this signal level, so I have not reduced the voltage.

I'm happy now. No need to switch off the Denons manually now.

Very cool! That's a nice rig you have there. Those Denon amps are one of the few consumer amps that will accept balanced inputs too.

Thanks. I don't have a balanced signal to drive them with, but they seem to do just fine anyway.
