Denon @ Victor TT ??

I have previously been aware of a link between Denon and Victor aka JVC USA and their TT,s.
The design alone made one consider that at the very least there was a level of collaboration between the two.

This is a recent update to the Victor TT page on TVK site.

the Exclusive P3/a notwithstanding), only Denon and, to a lesser degree, Technics executed this kind of program as proficiently as Victor. And we all know a good part of Denon's was engineered and/or made by... JVC !

I had thought that either JVC had a hand in the design/mfr of the highly electronic Denons, or was very influential in their design. Either way, it's ironic that Denon was Nippon Columbia and JVC was Japan Victor, their American counterparts being rivals.
