Dear all,
Thought I'd "show off" the system I've put together since my last post, about 18 months ago. The system has grown and improved quite a bit since then:
It's made out of:
Denon AVR-X4000
Denon PMA-2020AE integrated (always powering fronts, it has a "power direct" feature)
Denon DCD-2000AE CD / SACD Player
Denon DVD-2500BT Blu-Ray Player
Denon DNP-720AE Network Player
Emotiva Stealth DC-1 Full Differential DAC
Wharfedale Jade 7 front speakers
Wharfedale Jade C1 center speaker
Wharfedale Jade 3 rear speakers
JBL XTi 300 Subwoofer
Philips 55" Android TV w/ 3-sided Ambilight. I also run Philips Hue lights, which integrate nicely with Ambilight.
Sony Playstation 4 Pro
Flimsy Dual-made Philips FP930 turntable with AT95E cart
I have a Raspberry Pi running MoOde Audio, connected via USB to the Emotiva DAC (the Denon network player is also connected to it, via optical), playing music from my Synology NAS and from Spotify / USB / external HDD.
I run QED Genesis Silver Spiral for the fronts, QED Reference XT40 for the center and rear channels, whereas all interconnects are QED Performance Audio 40.
I'd like to receive your thoughts and suggestions. I have no upgrade plan at the moment, other than maybe getting an OLED TV with a better image processor, and I'm on the search for the newer Denon DCD-2020AE CD Player, to match my amplifier.
Thank you and greetings from Romania!
