Deoxit advise JVC JR-S200L

Hello,
I have a JVC JR-S200L receiver that have some problems with the volume slider.

It crackles a bit and I have to slide it back and forth a number of times to get the left channel to work.

I assume there is oxidation in it.

I'm thinking about using Deoxit but don't want to ruin it and remove any possible grease in the slider.

So I need some advise on what types of Deoxit to order and if it's needed to take the slider apart.

You could order Faderlube F5 , but that won’t really remove the oxidation. There’s a CRC electrical lube that’s readily available in home improvement stores, but I forget the number on the can. You SHOULD be able to hit the slider with a contact cleaner like D5 or the equivalent CRC product, but then follow it up with a lube.

The CRC electrical lube is CRC 2-26. Home Depot, Lowes, and most hardware stores have it.
