About 1/3 of his asking price would be fair imo. I have a pair and paid much less than that 1/3 for mine.
They are quite nice sounding speakers and have that typical smooth polk house sound.

The seller has had them on CL for months, starting at $525 if I remember correctly. I agree wth Motorstereo; nice, but not $399 nice.
