Diatone MGA Mitsubishi speaker mystery to me.

They are in pretty good shape and sound really good. Can anyone offer any help on these.

Not that particular one. I have over 25yrs of experience with speakers and drivers and can spot quality within seconds. The MGA Lincolnwood IL sticker is a dead giveaway. These were part of an all in one system that was sold to the budget minded... This is one of my sets of Diatone speakers which were costly then and now. If your ears like them thats all the matters, but as far as quality Mitsu speakers go these are part of the lower rung..

Those are certainty nice speakers.These surprised me from the way that looked and the sound they produced, may have been a better way for me to have phrased it. I have found information on a few in this line but haven’t been able to for this particular model number, I had not even considered Mitsubishi before now really, but as I’ve looked into it they have helped shape the way listen to music today. These as humble as they are have sparked an interest in finding out more about them. I’m not replacing my EPIs or ARs with them but I am glad I got them. Thanks for the help.
 
Maybe an old thread... But just found a pair of SS-26 myself. They sound OK, but lack of bass IMHO.

This is what a proper Diatone/Mitsubishi woofer looks like. Machined magnet housing and cast aluminum basket.
