Looks solid state.

What do you think ?

If it is tubes, it is a great deal - as in free.

It looks like an HK930 receiver in there to me. I thought about this one, but I then thought somebody might want to restore the whole thing, and I'd just trash the console and take out the receiver, and that seems like such a waste. Go get it, Snade...you want it.....it's calling your name out with all of it's twin-powered glory...

Here's a picture I found elsewhere of the 930. What a beautiful receiver.

Hi,

Yes, Harmon-Kardon made a few Solid State consoles. It's worthy. Get it. Just restore and use it. Too many of these classics are getting gutted. A shame as many of them are excellent performers.

I could never get this in the house, and like you guys, I don't want to gut it.

I'm a big fan of these HK receivers. Somebody should grab this if still available.

Well, it is kind of an ugly cabinet...if it were one of the Danish Modern looking consoles, I'd be all over it. I use one of those as a TV stand. This one looks HUGE, though.

Judging from the loveseat behind it, that looks like a 6 footer to me, save it somebody. Drinks cabinet?? You can hide valuable's in there and no one's gonna steal it
