Did Kenwood have a good reputation...

I Fancy getting a Kenny amp to go with mu KD 990 but I don`t know much about them, at the moment I am using a Onkyo 9010 so any Kenwood amp would have to be an improvement on that in sound quality, it would be great to find an amp of the same era as the TT, any ideas?

a bit older, 1979, but would look right at home with your table. Already posted in this thread, but looks so great it deserves another showing.

keep in mind these don't usually come with the handles, worth an additional $100 if there.
