Dimming lights on G-7500

I just won a G-7500 on Ebay. I have been playing around with it. I decided to crank it up a little(About three is plenty) and I thought it was my imagination ,but every time the bass notes hit the lights for the meters dim slightly. It is in perfect harmony with the music. Is there a potential problem coming?

Regards

It's possible the capacitors in the power supply are going. More likely you had the loudness on and bass turned up. You may have been nearing the rated output on the bass notes. Some say the dimming is not normal, but I have seen it on many units. could be your electrical service also, but I doubt it.

yeah my unit has been this way forever ive known. the dimming is very slight and almost unnoticable.....my receiver has never failed because of this. My tech said the slight dimming wont hurt anything.
