Is there any other way to either find an ID or take a measurement on a diode besides de-soldering it and pulling it from the PCB and testing its resistance apart from the circuit? I am getting underway with a mod and was looking for diode specs on both the seven black 8841 171-1 and five blue 8847 171-1 diodes to replace them (fast-response schottky) for a Magnavox CD 2000 cdp opamp/cap upgrade project. Could not find a lick of identifying info, or specs on these diodes, unlike capacitor values which are easily understood and/or can be cross-referenced by the identifying numbers printed on them.
