Dirt cheap EPI's!!

Picked these up at thrift and I know there are alot that feel these arent the better EPI's but damn they sure sound fine to me... The 10" woofer does a great job.. It looks just like a 10" Boston A series woofer.. Cabs have laminate veneer peeling all over but you dont listen with your eyes, right?? EPI 120c are the real deal folks!!

Nice rescue. Hope you get plenty of enjoyment from them. Some EPI are better than others, but none are unlistenable in my opinion.

Agreed I would have paid what i did even if they needed refoam! Strangely they were already refoamed and done well! Never see that....

Those aren’t bad at all. Like the inverted dome tweeters.

One of the first pair EPI I've owned. They aren't bad at all, a tad more midrange gap but, the added bass was nice.

Had a set. Good but not as good as the original EPIs. The woofer is a little whippy and the cab is flimsy in comparison to the vintage stuff but still very good as long as you dont drive them very hard.

I got a pair just like yours a few months ago. I re-foamed the woofers and they sound really good. One of the many things I like about them is they don’t have that annoying dip in the upped mids that many 10” 2 ways have. They also don’t unnaturally emphasize the lows like some large cab vented speakers do. The lows are thunderous on material that has big lows but sound totally natural on source material that doesn’t. $50 they’re fantastic!
