Dirty domes ????

I have a couple of pairs of A/D/S tweeters that been sitting around for a while. During this time they seem to have attracted every spec of dust in the cabinet where they were stored. Other tweeters I have cleaned with some low pressure compressed air and a small paint brush, not these sticky buggers.
Any suggestions or recommendations on cleaning the domes without damaging them?

Thanks

Yes, don't. ;)

Seriously, those are coated silk domes. Anything you might use to clean them could easily damage or even remove the coating , leaving the silk exposed. Just put the grilles on and pretend you never noticed the dust.

+1...good advice.

"Ditto" to what the two members said above :) The Peerless dome tweeters on my Polk 10's have bits of dust all around as well, what wont come off with a light puff of breath just stays on. Try to ignore the fuzzies, and enjoy those ADS :)
