Disassembling 1958 Motorola SK14M Turntable

Hello,

I've been working on restoring this old SK14M turntable that works fine besides the platform itself slowing/catching while turning occasionally. I believe it just needs some good love and a little cleaning but I cannot figure out how to get into the turning platform itself. I have the manual but didn't want to take anything apart that I shouldn't, any direction would be a great help!

What make is the table? Motorola didn't make them, they came from somewhere else. I think they usually used Voice of Music changers.

Should be a circlip on the spindle holding platter on. Pry it off with small screwdriver & lift platter straight up.
