Lunchtime score... 40 albums, 40 bucks! :D

Including a CD-4 pressing of The Best of Bread in minty shape! I can't wait to actually hear the syrup dripping off all 4 walls!

I found her diary underneath the tree
And started reading about me
So I killed that nappy bitch and drank a 40

...wait, that's not it.

Well, there was a couple classical CD-4 titles that didn't thrill me at all, nor would I expect them to do much for anyone else, so I left them there for someone else to discover.

I picked up about 15 titles for myself and the rest are to start my college bound daughter on her own vinyl collection. I set her up with a Marantz 2220 and a Pioneer PL-514 with an Empire 2000EIII cartridge. Still looking for some good small speakers for her, for now using the craptastic Sony speakers that came with her boobcube.

She was absolutely amazed at how much better they sounded than the original Sony all-in-one cube. And that's without the subwoofer, as compared to the Sony, with the subwoofer. Plus, she can pull in the teenybopper radio station in Wausau, 45 miles away, like it's next door. That other piece of junk couldn't pull it in at all.

No Lawrence, Howard. Sorry. :D

I purcased a set of the small Energy bookshelf speakers for a freind who wanted me to set up a "cheap" vinyl system for them. They looked like a nice B&W knock-off with pretty cabinetry (I got a set in the fake rosenut which looked very nice), and a very small footprint. I hooked the whole system up, sat back and listened....and almost took the Energy's back for myself...holy crap did they sound good!!
