Ain't this boogie a mess
One of the fun things about shopping garage sales and thrifts for records is that it makes it easy to sample some sounds that we haven't heard before. This weekend I picked up an album by the Specials. The album was produced by Elvis Costello, and his influence is evident. I don't know when this album came out, but I have enjoyed the change of pace. Frankly, I can't describe the difference between reggae and ska, but this music fits into one of those genre. The Specials are worth a listen. I will probably do some homework on them now.
