ALOHA!
Tally ho, gentlemen. This weekend is "The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride".
I have done this ride in the preceding two years, but unfortunately this weekend, I have another venue that prevents me from attending.
The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride is an International truly GLOBAL event of CLASSIC Motorcycles and Distinguished Gentlemen dressing dapper and a few of their ladies. It takes place in many major cities in the US, Canada, and throughout the world.
Riders who enter the ride are sponsored riders and all donations to sponsored riders go to Prostate Cancer Research in an effort to find a cure. As someone whom has lost family members to Prostate Cancer, this is a worthwhile cause.
It's not a ride for new bikes, sport bikes, or leather clad boys. It's an event where you dress up like a gentleman and ride a Cafe or Standard CLASSIC motorcycle. I have an older Triumph so I ride that. But an older Honda Standard or a Cafe Racer style would work or anything like that if you are interested in riding.
Here is the Link: https://www.gentlemansride.com/
You can REGISTER to RIDE or SPONSOR a RIDER or just have fun looking at the pics and reading about the venue. ALL of the sponsorship funds go directly to Prostate Cancer Research.

Here are a few videos to give you a flavor of the ride. It's all about dressing dapper and riding a classic machine:
Any video that starts with a vinyl record is good!
Aloha!
