Distorted sound from one Tannoy SRM10B speaker

Hi there, I hooked up my beloved Tannoys 10” and one speaker had it sound distorted and at a lower volume. I switched L to R and R to L speaker connections and had the same experience. Any idea what could be the issue? The membrane looks good to me. Could it be blown? Or damaged coil?

Any test advices would be highly appreciated. What a bummer !
